Once you contact us (Doug@janddfitness.com or (702) 892-0400), you are scheduled for a Success Session. The purpose of this session is for us to listen to what you want to achieve (fat loss, strength improvement, injury rehabilitation, etc.). Our job is to provide insight on how we can get you from where you currently are to where you want to be. We’ll discuss short and longterm goals, past injuries or limitations, along with past exercise activities. We explain what you should expect from your training with J & D Fitness and will map out a strategy to overcome hurdles you may have encountered in the past that have hindered you from reaching your goals. After we answer any questions you may have, you are scheduled for an assessment. We currently utilize the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to establish your movement competency. This eliminates guess work and enables us to be precise in your exercise programming. Our goal is to meet you at your current level and then help you reach your fitness goals. Our one-on-one private training allows scheduling flexibility that is not available with our semi-private training.
Semi-private training allows people to enjoy the camaraderie of others while still receiving expert and personalized coaching. You receive expert coaching while sharing the cost of the trainer with others. Groups are limited to 6 people maximum (except for our Metabolic Disruption session). The workouts are goal outcome oriented. If you’re looking for fat loss and want to increase your overall strength, we have our Torch workout. Maybe you wish to get stronger with an emphasis on your core, then our TRX Flow is what we recommend. Our semi-private training is broken up between five different training modalities (see workout descriptions below). Please check the schedule for days, times, and availability.
